Conservatorship

If a person becomes incapable of making decisions on their own about their medical treatment or everyday life, and their health or safety may be in danger, they may need someone to assist them. Oregon laws on select fiduciary relationships:

Oregon Revised Statutes, Chapter 125 includes state statutory law on guardianships, conservatorships, and procedures in protective proceedings.

Oregon Revised Statutes, Chapter 127 include state statutory law on powers of attorney, advance directives for health care, physician orders for life sustaining treatment, and declarations for mental health treatment.
